This book will help children learn how to use the power of their imagination as a tool to help them slow down and think through things before acting out. It provides a collection of brief guided imagery stories on various guidance topics. Each story is designed to be read to an individual child or to a group of children.
Follow-up discussions and activities can be included as time allows. In the process, students will learn how to calm themselves down, improve social skills, consider new possibilities, find new solutions to problems, develop better behavior, and increase self-esteem.
